Instructions for Authors:

Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to us. These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production and publication smoothly. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as doing so will ensure your paper matches the journal¡¯s requirements.

-Submission declaration and verification
Submission to this journal proceeds totally online. The system automatically converts source files to a single Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the article, which is used in the peer-review process. To verify compliance, your article may be checked by Crossref Similarity Check and other originality or duplicate checking software. Please note that even though manuscript source files are converted to PDF at submission for the review process, these source files are needed for further processing after acceptance. Authors will be required to obtain and provide proper permissions to reprint any images, etc., for which they do not hold rights and should ensure the permissions will be obtainable if publication occurs. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail and via the author's homepage, removing the need for a hard-copy paper trail.

-Peer Review
All articles submitted to Big.D are subject to peer review. Submitted papers may be accepted without changes or subject to amendment and re-refereeing before publication. Papers may be rejected on the grounds of relevance or content. This journal operates a double anonymized review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final. Editors are not involved in decisions about papers which they have written themselves or have been written by family members or colleagues or which relate to products or services in which the editor has an interest. Any such submission is subject to all of the journal's usual procedures, with peer review handled independently of the relevant editor and their research groups.
